At Phodijos Childcare Lakeside Niños, we believe every child deserves a safe, joyful and inclusive space to learn and grow. We nurture curiosity, creativity and confidence through play, learning and love.
Our Story
As a mum with a deep passion for children, I created Phodijos Childcare so that all my children and every child who joins us can understand how wonderful it is to care for others while learning to care for themselves. My journey began when, at a very young age, I looked after two children who were abandoned on my mother's door step. I was mostly responsible in caring for them due to being the oldest female. That experience sparked a lifelong love for childcare and shaped the way I see nurturing as both a privilege and a purpose.
When I later had my own children, that passion only grew stronger. I realised how fulfilling it is to help children feel safe, loved and understood and I wanted to share that feeling with families in my community.
The Meaning Behind Our Name
Phodijos is more than a name — it’s a symbol of family and inclusivity.
- Pho stands for my first daughter.
- Di represents my second daughter.
- Jos honours my youngest son.
Together, their names remind me that every child, no matter who they are, deserves care, love and belonging.
Our Promise
We treat every child as if they were our own with compassion and joy. Through Phodijos Childcare, I continue to live out my calling, creating a space where children grow to feel valued and learn that kindness starts with how we care for one another.
